"The Cannons Lake House" , read the slate tile I received for mothers day. It couldn't have been a more perfect weekend, that is, unless Buddy were here. The temps were in the 70's and the lake was beautiful. We spent the whole day relaxing and enjoying each other. Adelina played all day with a smile on her face. She even said a sentence.... "Go swing swing with Mandie." Though she's just been diagnosed with strep throat, Mandie played with her nearly the entire day. Lydia relaxed to the point of napping, which she rarely does, due to a terrible cold. Tiffany and Jon enjoyed the lake, a canoe ride, and made plans for their new place next door. They are getting excited about moving in next week. We are thrilled to have them as neighbors. Michael has an enormous amount of energy lately and spent it planting hydrangeas up near our "retaining wall' and sweet sweet rosemary bushes by the back steps. I look forward to having those for many years to come :)
