The Rev and I have been priveleged to live in many different places. Twenty-one in fact :) Our journey together has taken us through twenty-eight years of marriage, four children, many different types of housing, and too many pets to count. In an attempt to keep a journal of the past, I have posted here the journey with photos to boot. Enjoy your travels :)

☼ The Farmhouse ☼

Our wonderful low country home.... a 1903 farmhouse, completely restored with its original farmhouse door!

On 1.6 acre secluded private yard with circular driveway and wrap around porch.

Huge master bedroom with large walk-in closets and door to our own private side porch area.

Its original wide heart of pine plank floors were gorgeous. The 12 foot ceilings gave it a great roomy feel! The fireplace in the great room warmed things up and the beautiful crown moldings throughout the home looked beautiful.

Custom oak cabinets in kitchen and glass doors gave it a great country feel.

I MISS it :(

Fort Cannon
We were basically 'unemployed and homeless' as we searched for work after deployment and then searched for housing. Michael's parents were so gracious to let us 'live' in their home. It was a wonderful time with family. We spent most of the time reflecting on the war, September 11th, the past, and the future. It was a quiet time of healing for all of us.

DEPLOYMENT
Koondocks :)
Michael received orders for Kuwait/Iraq and left for the war zone. The children and I moved in with my parents and just tried to understand what was going on. I had to make several trips back and forth to New Jersey where our home was on the market, for sale. It was a stressful time for me. I watched FOX news almost 24/7. It was a difficult time of transition, unsurety, questions, fear, and loneliness. My life will never be the same. September 11th changed our family forever.
